Our commitment
1st Choice Urgent Care is committed to making 1stchoiceuc.com usable by people of all abilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we have done
- Pages use headings, landmarks and a "Skip to content" link so they work with screen readers.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, and the element in focus is clearly outlined.
- Images that carry information have text alternatives.
- Text and buttons are designed to meet WCAG AA color-contrast levels, and body text is at least 16 pixels on phones.
- Phone numbers are tap-to-call links, and the main buttons are large enough to tap easily.
- Animations respect your device's "reduce motion" setting.
Known limitations
Embedded Google Maps are provided by Google and may not be fully accessible. Every map is accompanied by the clinic's full street address in text and a "Get Directions" link.
